Jula Jane is actively involved in organizations focused on supporting single women including: Operation G.I. Jane, which she founded and currently serves as its President, The Junior League of Atlanta, and Georgia Campaign for Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention (G-CAPP).
A well known Atlanta author always looking for a way to give back, Jane has pledged the profits from her book sales to Operation G.I. Jane. Additionally, when producing her company's corporate magazine she dedicated three full pages to promoting Operation G.I. Jane and its 2011 fundraiser—Halloween Hoorah, increasing awareness for the charity and its mission.
Jane chaired champagne house Veuve Clicquot's annual Halloween party, Yelloween, in 2008, making it a charitable event for the first time in its history—benefitting G-CAPP. It was such a success that Jane has committed to throwing a Halloween fundraiser every year to benefit a worthwhile cause. Her most recent event, Halloween Hoorah, was held on October 29, 2011 and benefitted Operation G.I. Jane
Not afraid to push up her sleeves and get involved, Jane chose Open Hand as her Junior League placement, so that she could interact directly with those in need. Whether donning a hair net and manning the food line or delivering meals door-to-door, she always has a smile on her face knowing she is making a big difference in someone's life.
